HOW TO REGISTER

Your registration payment and membership dues must be completed as two separate transactions. To complete your registration, first ensure your membership is current. Please see details below to renew your membership or join AIS.

PLEASE NOTE: Ancillary Only registration does not include access to the ICIS conference sessions, meals, the Welcome Reception or the Social Event. 

RENEWING MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS

It is important to note, the ICIS conference is only open to current members of AIS. You must join or renew your AIS membership prior to registering for the full conference.

Please Note: If you will be joining or renewing your AIS membership your registration payment and membership dues will be processed separately. Please look to receive a separate receipt for each transaction.

Full Conference Pass Details

The full conference registration includes attendance to all conference sessions and exhibits, the Welcome Reception and Social Event, all conference provided meals and refreshment breaks. 

ANCILLARY MEETINGS & WORKSHOPS

You will have the option to add SIG & Ancillary Workshops during your full conference registration. You may do so during your online registration or via the paper registration form.

If you have already registered and would like to add a workshop to your completed registration please visit our ICIS 2014 workshop area;  be sure to sign in with your AIS username and password to receive the member pricing. Select the workshop you would like to add, then complete your purchase.

Please note: If you are not planning to attend ICIS but would like to register to attend the workshops you may register online to attend the SIG & Ancillary Events Only. AIS membership is not required to register for the SIG & Ancillary Events Only option but if you are a current AIS member you will be eligible to take advantage of discounted workshop registration rates.

Guest Passes

Guest Full Package Tickets and Guest Individual Event Tickets are available for purchase by any full conference registrant. Please note the purchases of the guest tickets are only necessary if you are planning to bring a guest to accompany you to the evening events or conference meals. Your full conference registration includes your attendance to the Welcome Reception and Social Event.

·         Guest Full Package Ticket

The guest full package ticket includes a printed badge, all conference provided meals, and access to both the Welcome Reception & Social Event for the individual who will be accompanying you (i.e. your spouse or colleague)

·         Guest Individual Event Ticket

A guest individual event ticket includes access to a single event of your choice (Welcome Reception or Social Event) for the person who will be accompanying you (i.e. your spouse or colleague).

All guest ticket options will be available for purchase during the registration process or you may make your purchase while onsite.

*Please note guests tickets do not include access to any educational sessions.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER

If you are an AIS Institutional or Joint AIS/SIM Institutional Member and will be using the complimentary conference registration for ICIS 2014, please contact the AIS Member Service Center at membership@aisnet.org to verify your eligibility and receive the appropriate promotional discount code. Once you receive your promotional code, you may enter it during your online registration in the promo code field to receive the complimentary rate or provide it on the paper registration form. 

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fees are quoted and must be paid in US Dollars. All participants must pay the applicable registration fees, including workshop speakers, paper presenters, session moderators and conference committee members.

What to expect after completing your conference registration

You should receive two emails to the address provided during your conference registration immediately after your online registration has been completed.

Email 1 - Conference Confirmation Letter

Email 2 - Conference Registration Receipt

You may download a copy of your conference receipt at any time; to do so:

§  Log into your AIS profile using your Username and Password

§  Select the "manage profile" link found in the right sidebar

§  Select the "Invoices" link found in the Invoicing, Payments & History section

§  From the filter by status drop down list; please select "Any Status"

§  Then select the "view/print invoice" icon

SUBSTITUTION and CANCELLATION POLICY

Substitutions for current AIS members are permitted at no additional fee; please send your request in writing to registrar@aisnet.org or fax to 404-240-0998 by December 2, 2014; after this date all substitutions must be completed onsite.

Requests for cancellation must be in writing via email, fax or mail and are subject to the following schedule:

·         Received by October 8, full refund less $25 administrative fee

·         Received between October 9–December 2, full refund less $50 administrative fee

·         Cancellation request received on December 3 or later will not be eligible to receive a refund; the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee.

VISA INVITATION LETTER

If you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa to attend ICIS, the conference organizers will be happy to provide one. However, given the requirements of the New Zealand Immigration service, please follow the procedure below: 

1.       Please pay the conference registration fee (Only those who have registered are entitled to receive an invitation letter)

2.       Next create an email request for an invitation letter; please be certain to include the following information in your request

a.    First Name and Last Name

b.    Affiliation (place of work)

c.    Passport Number and Issuing Country

3.       Then email your request for an invitation letter, together with your confirmation of conference registration from the AIS office, to the following:

The invitation will then be sent to your email address as the PDF document. You may request a hard copy if needed. In such a case advise us of your mailing address.
