  • Registration Fees

    The registration fees are listed in US Dollars; payment is also required in US Dollars. All participants must pay the applicable registration fees, including workshop speakers, paper presenters, session moderators and conference committee members.

    Please Note: Registration discounts expire at 11:59 p.m. ET on the dates indicated on the website.

  • Scholarships & Grants

    There are a number of grants to offset the cost of conference registrations and travel costs:

    • Eph McLean AIS Membership Scholarship Program 
    • AIS & Bocconi – Ph.D. Student Travel Grants – Closed! Thank you for your interest. This program has reached its capacity for this conference.
    • AMCIS 2023 In-Person Scholarship Program – Closed! Thank you for your interest. This program has reached its capacity for this conference.
    • The AMCIS 2023 Virtual Conference Registration Grant has been established to provide a discounted conference registration fee (up to 100% discount) for individuals interested in attending the virtual experience of AMCIS 2023.
    • AMCIS 2023 In-Person Panama Scholarship Program – Closed! Thank you for your interest. This program has reached its capacity for this conference.

  • Pre/Post Conference Workshops

    AMCIS 2023 will offer a wide variety of Ancillary Meetings and Events both pre and post-conference. Please click here to learn more as many workshops and events continue to be added to the schedule.

    If you have previously registered online for the conference you may ADD A WORKSHOP to your full conference registration.

    Pre-conference workshops require full conference registration.

  • Renewing Members and Non-members

    It is important to note, this conference is open to current members of AIS. Please join or renew your AIS membership prior to registering for the conference. Click here for a current list of the Individual AIS membership rates.

    Please Note: If you will be joining or renewing your AIS membership your registration payment and membership dues will be processed separately. Please look to receive a separate receipt for each transaction.

  • Invitation Letter Request

    PLEASE NOTE: Letter requests should be submitted once registration opens.

    If you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa to attend AMCIS,  please follow the steps below:

    1. Register and complete your payment for your conference registration
    2. Complete the Invitation Letter Request Form
    3. Return the completed request form and a copy of your registration confirmation to the AIS registrar at registrar@aisnet.org or fax to +1 404-760-8177.

    Please Note: Visa requests can take several weeks, registrants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Letter of Invitation no later than 2 months prior to the conference.

  • Institutional Member

    If you are an AIS Institutional Member and will be using your University’s complimentary conference registration for this conference, please contact the Membership Director at membership@aisnet.org to verify your eligibility and receive the appropriate promotional discount code prior to completing your online conference registration. Once you receive your promotional code, you may enter it during your online registration to receive the complimentary rate.

  • Guest Passes

    Guest Full Package Tickets and Guest Individual Event Tickets are available for purchase by any full conference registrant. Please note the purchases of the guest tickets are only necessary if you are planning to bring a guest to accompany you to the evening events or conference meals. The primary registrant’s full conference registration includes attendance at the welcome reception and social event.

    Guest Full Package Ticket
    The guest full package ticket includes a printed badge, all meals, and access to all evening events for the individual who will be accompanying you (i.e. your spouse or colleague).

    Guest Individual Event Ticket
    A guest individual event ticket includes access to the Welcome Reception only or the Social Event only for the individual who will be accompanying you (i.e. your spouse or colleague).

    Both guest ticket options will be available for purchase during the registration process or you may purchase them during the conference.

    Please note: Guest tickets do not include access to any educational sessions.

POLICIES

  • Substitution Policy

    Substitutions are permitted at no additional fee. To request a substitution please email the name of the AIS member who you would like to transfer your registration to and their email address to registrar@aisnet.org by August 2, 2023. After August 2, 2023, all substitutions must be completed onsite.

    Please Note: You or the member you are transferring your conference registration to are ineligible for any refunds or credits related to the registration transfer (i.e., refunds or credits towards workshops, evening events or guest tickets are not allowed). Also note, the person you are transferring your registration to must be a current AIS member.

  • Cancellation Policy

    In-Person

    Request for cancellation must be in writing via email to registrar@aisnet.org, and are subject to the following schedule:

    • Received by June 20: full refund less $25 administrative fee
    • Received between June 21 – August 1: full refund less $50 administrative fee
    • Received between August 2-8: full refund less $150 administrative fee

    Cancellation requests received beginning August 9 will not be eligible to receive a refund; the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee. This also includes workshop cancellations.

    Virtual

    • Received by August 1, 2023: full refund less $25 administrative fee
    • Received between August 2-8: full refund less $50 administrative fee
    • Cancellation requests after August 9: Cancellation requests received beginning August 9 will not be eligible to receive a refund; the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee.
