Hotel Activities

August temperatures in Puerto Rico have average highs in the mid to high 80s (30°C) with lows in the mid 70s (25°C). The trade winds keep San Juan and the coastal towns cool while the temperature decreases as you go higher into the mountainous areas.

The El Conquistador Resort offers many activities for the entire family, including golf, water sports, horseback riding, and an on-site water park.

Off-Site Activities and Excursions And Activities

Come early or stay late to enjoy San Juan and the rest of Puerto Rico . Puerto Rico is only 100 miles long by 35 miles wide, so it is easy to explore. There are many historical and cultural attractions along with excellent shopping and numerous outdoor activities. Puerto Rico’s dynamic culture comes from Spanish, African, Indian and U.S. influences. Trendy restaurants nestle next to 15th-century Spanish forts; modern shopping malls touch tropical rainforests; and glitzy casinos lie juxtaposed against some of the most stunning beaches, caves and offshore coral reefs in the Caribbean. San Juan hosts the Puerto Rico Museum of Art and the Plaza Las Americas mega-mall. Old San Juan, in the heart of San Juan, has many beautiful historic monuments, fountains, museums, and restaurants.
